Student Athletes
We are in the process of finalizing the Summer 2011 programs for two locations in Kenya as well as in Peru's Sacred Valley. Detailed information will be available by mid-September. Please visit our Facebook page: Strive Trips - Service Travel for Student Athletes and become a fan in order to be alerted when the program information is available.
In the Summer 2011 programs, students will have the opportunity to:
• Train in temperate (avg. 70º) locations at
altitudes of approx. 8000 ft
• Explore new countries and cultures, without
interrupting or compromising summer athletic training.
• Enjoy the facilities at each location we stay ; to run,
swim, and/or work out in the gym daily
• Help within local communities on service projects
which benefit local families
• Develop new relationships and cultural insights
• In Kenya: run alongside (and perhaps meet) world
champion runners, experience safaris, visit a Masai
village,climb Mt. Kenya, practice Swahili
• In Peru: hike the Inka trail to Machu Pichu, visit the
ancient Inka capital city of Cuzco, immerse yourself in
Spanish.
