To apply for financial aid please send us the following (at the same time) — by mail or by email (k.trotzuk@strivetrips.com):
- A copy of the front page of the participant's parents' 2009 and 2010 tax returns (both parents if they file separately)
- A letter in which you tell us the following:
1. Why this experience would be important/beneficial for you.
2. What additional fund-raising efforts and plans you will be pursuing in the coming months to contribute to your program expenses.
3. The maximum amount you believe you will be able to contribute to the program tuition fees (not including international airfare).
Applications are processed in the order in which they’re received, but all financial aid requests including full documentation must be received before Dec. 31, 2011.
Financial aid offers are made for programs based on space availability at the time of processing, so flexibility is recommended. In the event you are unable to accept a placement once you receive your financial assistance offer, all of your deposit funds will be returned.
