Thank you for your interest in working with a group of STRIVE student athletes. We are not yet ready to accept applications for Summer 2011 positions. Applications should be available by early October,2010 and will be accepted until the end of January, 2011.
If you are a college graduate with high school coaching experience and a fluent Spanish speaker and would like to be considered for a Group Leader position in the summer of 2011, please send an email to applications@strivetrips.com and we'll send you information in the fall regarding our upcoming summer 2011 trips and employment opportunities.
Before you apply for a position, please review the following minimum qualifications.
Group Leader
- Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree;
- Extensive running and/or structured training experience including coaching; and/or
- Extensive experience working with North American high school students;
- International travel experience preferably in Kenya or its neighboring countries;
- Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR preferred (Higher level certifications desirable.) For
the right candidate training will be provided;
- Availability for the entire period of June 25 - August 14, 2011, without exception.
- Minimum age: 25
- For Peru: Must be a fluent Spanish speaker
Group Assistant
- Minimum education: 2 years of college;
- Extensive running and/or structured training experience, preferably with some coaching
responsibilities;
- Some experience working with high school students;
- International travel experience;
- Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR (Higher level certifications desirable.);
- Availability for the entire period of June 25 - August 14, 2011, without exception.
- For Peru: Must be a fluent Spanish speaker
Group leaders and assistants will also be required to attend a training session (dates to be determined) before departing for their overseas destination
